Sweet, Sticky & Spicy Chicken

The name itself carries alot of meaning to this dish. A simple but tasty dish to try.

Ingredients


  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tsp Fresh ginger chopped - 1/4 tsp dried
  • 2 tsp garlic chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Hot sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • All purpose flour
  • 4 Skinless chicken breast
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Preparation

1. Mix together brown sugar, honey, soy sauce, ginger, garlic and hot sauce in a bowl.
2. Then pour it in a small sauce pan simmer while cooking chicken. This should help thicken it for sticking to the chicken strips.
3. Combine flour, salt and pepper in bag and coat the chicken strips.
4. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken strips and brown it on both sides, about 1-2 minute per side.
5. Pour the sauce over the chicken. Simmer uncovered until the sauce thickens, 8 to 10 minutes.
