A Morning Prayer is a quick way to offer yourself and your whole day to God. Besides from the busy routines of ourselves, spare a few minutes when you get up to God.

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in union with the holy sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, in thanksgiving for your favors, in reparation for my sins, for the intentions of all my relatives and friends, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father. Amen. 

Most Christians say grace before meals to give thanks to the Lord. Grace is an important part of daily Catholic prayer. This is often the first way that children are exposed to a life of prayer.

Bless us, O Lord, and these thy gifts, which we are about to receive from thy bounty, through Christ our Lord. Amen.

A brief minute just before starting work is another important opportunity for prayer. This daily Catholic prayer is from an ancient form of the Litany of the Saints.

Direct, we beg you, O Lord, our actions by your holy inspirations, and grant that we may carry them out with your gracious assistance, that every prayer and work of ours may begin always with you, and through you be happily ended. Amen.

Catholic Rosary

In the Roman Catholic Religion, the Rosary is one of the most beautiful and sacred prayers. The Rosary is a devotion to God through a devotion to Mary. The Rosary consists of a series of prayers. The Rosary offers hope when life can be unbearable.

What is a Rosary?

A simple Rosary consists of strings of beads which includes a crucifix. Rosary beads are made from many types of material, such as pearl, hematite, crystal, glass, rose petals, and wood. Rosaries can be any color, shape or size.

Using the Rosary beads

We use the Rosary beads to help us count the prayers. We go once around all the beads to pray all the Joyful Mysteries, the same for the Luminous Mysteries and so on. Below is how we use the Rosary beads:

1.  Make the Sign of the Cross and pray the 'Apostle's Creed'.
2. Pray the 'Our Father'.
3. Pray '3 Hail Marys'.
4. Pray the 'Glory be to the Father'.
5. Announce the First Mystery, then pray the 'Our Father'.
6. Pray 10 'Hail Marys' while meditating on the Mystery.
7. Pray the 'Glory be to the Father'.
8. Announce the Second Mystery, then pray the 'Our Father'. Repeat steps 6 and 7 and continue with Third, Fourth, and Fifth Mysteries in the same manner.
9. After the Rosary, pray the Hail, Holy Queen.

Apostles Creed
I BELIEVE in God, the Father Almighty,

Hail Mary

Holy Mary
Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us sinners
now and at the our of our death. Amen.

Glory Be
Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit,
* As it was in the beginning, is now,
and ever shall be,
world without end. Amen.

Hail, Holy Queen
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy,
hail our life, our sweetness and our hope.
To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve,
to thee do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then, O most gracious advocate,
thine eyes of mercy towards us,
and after this our exile,
show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

After each Decade
you may pray the following prayer which was requested by the Blessed Virgin Mary at Fatima:
"O My Jesus, forgive our sins,

especially those who are most in need of your mercy".


When are different Mysteries prayed?

The Joyful Mysteries are normally prayed on Monday and Saturday.
The Luminous Mysteries are on Thursday,
The Sorrowful Mysteries on Tuesday and Friday,
The Glorious Mysteries are on Wednesday and Sunday.
*(Except on Sundays of the Christmas Season, when we pray the Joyful Mysteries, and on Sundays of Lent we pray the Sorrowful Mysteries).

Different Age Gap?

Is marrying a girl elder to you against your religion?? Or beliefs?? Or will your parents object it??

It was a belief that a man should marry a woman who is younger to him. In olden days, people used to follow a rule that the girl should be 10 - 15 years younger for a guy to marry her. And slowly the age gap reduced.

Now, we can see many situations where guys are marrying girls who are elder to them. Is that right? Lets take an example, Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar who is an Indian Cricketer widely regarded as one of the greatest batsman in the history of cricket. He was born on 24th April 1973 (aged 37) married his wife Anjali in 1995 which is born on 10th November 1967 (aged 43). They were gifted with 2 sons, Sara & Arjun.

What do you have to say for a 6 years age gap? Does that make them weird or unloving??

How about our famous theoretical physicist who is widely regarded as one of the most influential scientists of all time and the greatest physicists ever, Albert Einstein. He was born on 14th March 1879 (aged 24) married his wife Mileva Maric which was born on 19th December 1875 (aged 28). It was his first marriage though. She was Albert Einstein's fellow student and was one of the first woman who study mathematics and physics in Europe and later became his first wife. They had a daughter Lieserl Einstein which was born a year earlier before their marriage. In 1904, he had a son, Hans Albert Einstein and on 1910 another son named Eduard Einstein. In his second marriage, he married Elsa Einstein which was born on 18th January 1876 (aged 43) and Albert Einstein (aged 40). It was his first cousin.

Is it convincing enough. They were all happy too. They are all famous people around the world with their wifes.

How about Mohandas Karamchan Gandhi or known as Mahathma Gandhi? He was born on 2nd October 1869 (aged 14) arranged child marriage with his wife Kasturba Gandhi (aged 14) in 1883. The difference was the month where Mahathma Gandhi was born on 2nd October while Kasturba Gandhi was born on 11th April. A 6 months difference. They then had 4 sons, the 1st one was in the year 1888, named Harilal Gandhi, Manilal Gandhi, Ramdas Gandhi and finally Devdas Gandhi.

Any change of perception towards age gap now?? Guess so. Well if you guys observe, as I was going through the Indian history books, I caught hold of cases were like this. In Ramayana (an ancient Sanskrit Epic), Sita is elder than Rama. Draupadi is elder to some of her husbands and why go so far, Radha is elder to Krishna. If gods are truly correct in their paths, why are we wrong?? Why humans have to treat it as a mistake?

Scientifically there are reasons and theories for this to happen. I'm not judging or putting anyone down but women are sharp in actions and thoughts rather compared to men. Hence to make wife equal to husband, people started maintaining a gap in age. But this doesn't mean that men are dumb or any other reasons compared to women. To me, I treat men and women equally. Why do we have to say or conclude that men are higher a level compared to women?? They are both human beings, not god right? Treat them equally.

How about Hollywood then?

Ashton Kutcher born on 7th February 1978 (aged 32) & Demi Moore born on 11th November 1962 (aged 48) a crushing 16 years of gap. "The younger man is attracted to the older woman most likely because of her poise, her social graces. She has a polish he hasn't yet acquired" says Dr. Joyce Brothers of the younger man-older woman dynamic.

I'm sharing with you guys. Me and my fiancee are 2 years difference. She's older than me but that doesn't stop me from loving her. Never put age as a boundary in basically everything you do or say. I love her more than my life & we are happy with our relationship.
