Freshwater Rod & Reel

When it comes to the word "Fishing" what do you actually know?? Some may say fishing is actually catching fish. Some it's called recreational fishing. Recreational and sport fishing describes fishing for pleasure or competition.

I wouldn't say I've been fishing since I had my memory..hehe but I've been fishing at the age of 4. First, started to follow my dad & my uncle's to fishing spots & picnics... At that time, all I ever did was sit on a mat & eat junkies or biscuits in the middle of the jungle. I knew fishing has something to do with the water & the fish, but I never knew fishes eats the bait n the process goes on..

Owh well, lets get back to the topic. Hehe.. I've loved fishing equipments alot. And what I mean alot is from tackle which consists of rods, reels and travel kits. Lures and lines are in too, sure ain't forgetting that. Additional accessories are optional though.

I love Daiwa's rods and reels because it's like the most perfect quality assured equipments and it is also one of the best brands in the world. It's hard to find Daiwa's stuff here in Malaysia but if your a die-hard angler, most people say "when there's a will, there's a way". Daiwa's first spinning reel rolled off the assembly line in 1955. Since then, the company has grown into one of the largest and most influential tackle companies in the world today. Well it's about 54 years of experience they have on tackles. From the very beginning, Daiwa's emphasis has been upon innovation and quality. The result is a long list of product features, design and materials that have become standards for the fishing tackle industry. It is a long-standing record of innovation, the type of innovation that has left a visible mark on the majority of tackle manufactured today, innovation that continues to advance the sport of fishing.

There's a few main fishing style actually. Freshwater fishing, Offshore fishing, Inshore fishing, Surf & Jetty fishing and Fly fishing. Different style of fishing requires different type of rods and reels. You can't use the same rod for all the events. You definitely wouldn't wanna be called a "wierdo" or "estate" in our language. Hehehe.
